Using test mode features

Use the Explain filtering by feature report in the Customer Profile Viewer to view where actions are being filtered from the result.

If the results are not what was expected, check at which stages the actions are being filtered (there will be a true value in one or more columns) and investigate the Next-Best-Action Designer configuration to determine why the actions are being dropped.

Some columns may contain blank values for some actions rather than false, this simply means that the filter logic for that column was not executed for those actions. For example, Excluded by model maturity will always be blank for Inbound interactions since model maturity is only evaluated for outbound interactions.

If you cannot explain the results by reviewing the Next-Best-Action Designer configuration, you may need to drill down into the strategy framework and execute individual strategies in test mode. The simplest way to do this is to use a persona data transform to set all of the properties required to simulate a customer interaction, and include a row at the Data-Decision-Request-Customer level that sets ExecuteInTestMode to true.
