Business rule maintenance in the Production environment

As a manager, you can update Dialogs, and Coaching Tips in the production environment by using the ToolsConfiguration option available in each process action of the case type. This feature allows managers to change these options without having to wait for a rule deployment. Managers must have the same privileges associated with the PegaCA:Manager role in order to maintain these rules.

Note: Skills instances need to be created for them to be available in the selection of available Expert Skills.

Managers can also create reports in the My Reports section of the portal. For more information, see Report Browser features.

You can give managers the ability to update other rule types in the production environment. For example, managers can update the Goals and Deadline for a certain case type. These rules must be delegated in Dev Studio first. After the rule has been delegated, you can access it in the Interaction Portal by clicking ProfileMy rules.
