Troubleshooting treatments

Updated on August 4, 2022

Use the following troubleshooting tips to help solve issues related to treatments.

Pega Customer Decision Hub

Issue: Missing styling for table or grid structures sourced from an embedded section in an email treatment

If the email treatment contains a section with a repeating grid layout, the section is rendered without styling when the email is received. To solve this issue, include the required styling for the section in the Inline style field on the section.

  1. Click the grid layout and in the header click the View properties icon.
  2. In the Properties window, click the Presentation tab.
  3. To define inline style for the layout, enter CSS code in the Inline style (not for production use) field.
Note: Entering inline style results in a guardrail warning. You can justify the warning by noting that, for an email sent externally, the email does not have access to any runtime CSS from Pega Platform. Because of that, any styling must be contained within the email HTML.
